Membership
Membership entitles an individual to use of the club's facilities subject to the conditions of their chosen membership category, tariff rates and availability. Please note prices are liable to change from time to time.
Member's Access
Every Member will receive an electronic fob which must be used to gain access to the club. Members applying for a replacement card or electronic fob will be subject to an administration fee.
Lockers
For security reasons and the benefits of other members all lockers must be vacated by the end of each visit.
All lockers will be checked and emptied at the end of every day and any contents will be disposed of for security reasons. This policy is adopted for Member's safety and security and is of prime importance in the club operation.
Membership Subscriptions
All memberships are payable monthly by Direct Debit - normally taken on the 1st of each month.
If at any point you wish to cancel your membership, you must contact the Membership Secretary in writing giving the appropriate length of notice. Notice periods may vary according to membership type, please refer to your membership agreement for full details. Joining fees and subscriptions paid in advance will not be refunded unless you cancel within 14 days of joining.
When changing bank accounts from one bank/branch to another, immediate notification must be given to the Membership Secretary.
Forgotten Fobs
"Electronic Fobs" must be used on every visit to swipe in and out at reception. Members can be issued with the replacement fobs, a charge will be levied accordingly.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in the club.
Personal Belongings
Our liability to compensate you in the case of loss or damage other than death or personal injury is limited to a reasonable amount having regard to such factors as to whether the damage was due to a negligent act or omission by us.
If any personal property is found please hand in at the reception. Any property that is not claimed within 28 days will be donated to a worthy charitable cause.
Membership Rules
In order to maintain a high standard of facilities within a safe leisure environment and to ensure everyone's enjoyment, please read and observe the following membership rules:
General
- Members must agree to the rules.
- The proprietors reserve the right to terminate membership for breach of the rules, or conduct which, in the proprietor's opinion, is damaging to the character or interests of the club or offensive to other members or staff.
- Members must advise staff of any personal, current disability such as blindness, deafness, heart condition, epilepsy and other conditions etc. prior to using the facilities so that they help to avoid accidents, injuries or misadventures to themselves and others.
- Whilst using the club facilities all Members accept responsibility for their state of health and physical condition.
- Members behaviour in the club must not constitute a security or safety hazard to themselves or others in the club.
- Absolute discretion is retained by the proprietors to reject any application or renewal of membership without ascribing any reason for doing so.
- The proprietors' liability for damage or loss to Members' property is strictly limited to any damage or loss suffered as a direct result of the negligence of proprietors or their staff.
- No pets will be allowed in the club or its grounds with the exception of guide dogs.
- Entry to the club is permitted only at the club reception entrance.
- The proprietors may at any time withdraw all or any part of the club facilities for any period or periods where and when it may be deemed necessary for repair, maintenance, alteration or for safety reasons or alternative use.
- Cars must be parked correctly in the car park. No liability is accepted for loss or damage to cars or property and are left solely at the owners risk.
- No illegal gaming and betting shall be allowed in the club or on the premises.
- Please leave all bags and outdoor clothing in the lockers provided.
Gym Premises
- In the interest of safety, no person under 18 years is admitted to the gym (except during designated, supervised sessions).
- Members must ensure the electronic door lock is closed securely behind them when entering or leaving the premises.
- All equipment has been designed and tested to be safe with correct use. Please ensure for your own safety that you receive full instruction before commencing your first workout and thereafter follow your personal workout programme.
- Members are asked to dress appropriately and maintain the standard of the gym. Men are asked to wear vests/t-shirts at all times.
- Members must use a training towel at all times and wipe down machines after use.
